Job Purpose
Commission and test power plants before they enter the operational phase.
The role includes testing and commissioning activities for substations and power plants.
Work Context
- The role performs site testing and commissioning activities for power plant and substation equipment.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare project and new-equipment test reports, including updates and corrections.
- Document non-conformances and troubleshooting efforts.
Testing and Commissioning
- Conduct functional testing according to specified schemes and coordinate activities during customer inspections.
- Resolve technical issues during power plant testing and site commissioning.
- Test and commission substation equipment, including relays, switchgear, transformers, and related equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures during testing and commissioning.
Technical Support and Improvement
- Review design documents before release and provide technical support.
