Role Overview
Seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with strong experience in structural engineering and large-scale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate structural shop drawings, IFC drawings, and bar bending schedules.
- Handle reinforced concrete, structural steel, precast, foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and walls.
- Identify design discrepancies, constructability issues, and site-related technical problems.
- Prepare and follow up on requests for information and technical queries.
- Coordinate with structural, architectural, MEP, BIM, QA/QC, construction, and procurement teams.
- Review BIM models, method statements, and material or technical submittals for compliance with approved requirements.
- Provide technical support to site teams and ensure structural works follow approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor engineering submissions, revisions, approvals, and project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, precast, and structural construction.
- Good knowledge of ACI, BS, SBC, and relevant codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, Navisworks, and/or SAP Structures.
- Strong experience with shop drawings, BIM coordination, RFIs, and site engineering.
