About the Role

- Monitor and operate potable and RW water infrastructure via SCADA systems
- Respond to alarms and malfunctions and take corrective measures
- Visit and inspect sites to investigate defects or faults
- Prepare operational reports, incident reports, and performance updates
- Ensure compliance with HSE, security, and risk management protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Up to 3 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledge of water distribution network operations and SCADA systems
- Understanding of safety standards and switching procedures

Job Summary

General Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with organization's policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls.
- Ensure all reports are completed timely and comply with business policies.
- Manage preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports.
- Comply with organization's requirements in a timely manner.
Job Specific Responsibilities
- Provide instructions for conducting switching operations in the recycled water distribution network.
- Ensure that safety standards are upheld within the system.
- Coordinate the commissioning activities for new equipment in the recycled water distribution network.
- Assist in isolating faults and restoring supply.
- Update and maintain the database for the recycled water distribution network.
- Comply with reasonable occupational health and safety (OSH) instructions and safe working procedures.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.
- Familiarize oneself with emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of risk assessments.
- Report OSH hazards, incidents, and issues.
Most Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Execute and coordinate switching operations within the recycled water distribution network.
- Monitor and operate Potable and RW water infrastructure and react to real time information via SCADA systems.
- Respond to alarms and malfunctions of plant/SCADA operations and take corrective measures.
- Visit and inspect sites, investigating reasons for defects or faults and supporting technicians.
- Monitor, control, and optimize the operation of the Potable and recycled water distribution network.
- Coordinate commissioning, testing, and integration of new recycled water network assets.
- Support fault investigation, network isolation, and service restoration activities.
- Maintain accurate operational records, network databases, switching schedules, and system documentation.
- Prepare operational reports, incident reports, and performance updates.
- Ensure compliance with all HSE, environmental, and quality management requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Up to 3 years of relevant working experience.
Desired Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
