Join Qualcomm's growing machine-learning engineering team focused on enabling trained neural networks to execute on-device using heterogeneous Qualcomm chip capabilities.
The role combines Python development, software quality assurance, machine-learning workflows, and benchmarking and validation infrastructure.
Role responsibilities
- Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud-edge software, applications, or specialized utility programs.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to design system-level software solutions.
- Work with performance requirements and interfaces across engineering teams.
- Develop and execute test cases, automate tests, and troubleshoot or analyze issues.
- Enhance benchmarking and validation infrastructure from software-engineering and machine-learning perspectives.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Expertise developing test cases, automating tests, executing test cases, and troubleshooting or analyzing issues.
- Experience testing Electron-based applications across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Experience with Jasmine and Playwright or similar testing frameworks for Electron JavaScript desktop applications.
