Job Description
- The purpose of this role is to positively contribute the finalization allocated Goods and / Or Services as per the procurement policy and guidelines and processing of Purchase Order.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop and agree the list of Good or Service required for allocated project along with timeline to process and lead time for delivery.
- Develop and issue Request for Quotation (RFQ) to qualified vendors with all relevant documents.
- Ensure that all potential suppliers are provided with identical information.
- Analyze the possibility of introducing Value Engineering items to enhance additional Saving or Cost avoidance.
Operational Responsibilities
- Obtain Quote(s) within the stipulated period and analyze bid(s) in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Study the technical requirements/specifications of Client and feasible study of supplier/Manufacturer quote.
- Schedule meetings with suppliers/Manufacturers for technical and commercial discussions.
- Negotiate with vendors to get the best possible pricing, payment options, contract conditions.
- Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with JCA cost, quality and delivery targets.
- Indent/Material Request to be obtain from project team along with BOQ, approval copy.
- Check requisitions for completeness and clarity.
- Order to be proceed as per Framework agreement for the balance Goods and / or Service.
- Obtain signature in contract agreement as per DOA Matrix.
- Evaluate suppliers' performance by gathering information and preparing reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant procurement category.
