About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop electricity distribution network expansion plans to meet forecasted demand
- Support development of Power Network Development Plan by preparing project scopes and technical justifications
- Review preliminary and detailed design reports for compliance with company standards
- Prepare RFQs, BOQs, technical specifications, and scopes of work for power network projects
- Lead technical bid evaluations and support procurement activities
- Provide technical support during construction, testing, commissioning, and handover phases
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3 5 years of experience in power distribution, network planning, utility engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of electricity distribution networks and engineering design principles
- Experience in technical specification preparation, design review, and contractor/consultant management

Role Overview
- Seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to support planning, development, and delivery of electricity distribution network expansion projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electricity distribution network expansion plans
- Support development of Power Network Development Plan
- Develop detailed project scopes and functional specifications
- Review preliminary and detailed design reports
- Prepare RFQs, BOQs, technical specifications, and scopes of work
- Lead technical bid evaluations during tendering
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans
- Provide technical support to project management teams
- Conduct technical reviews of project designs
- Participate in site inspections and quality assurance
- Coordinate with Asset Management, Capital Projects, and O&M teams
- Ensure permits, approvals, and clearances are obtained
Additional Responsibilities
- Monitor project milestones, stage gates, and CAPEX objectives
- Support asset handover activities
- Monitor asset performance during Defects Liability Period
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in power distribution, network planning, utility engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of electricity distribution networks and engineering design principles
- Experience in technical specification preparation, design review, and contractor/consultant management
Preferred Requirements
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience within utility, transmission, or distribution companies
