About the Role
Ma'aden Aluminium Company is seeking an Engineer, Environment III to assist in implementing an Environment Management System and maintaining high environmental standards. The role involves carrying out surveys, monitoring, testing, waste disposal, and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations.

Responsibilities
- Obtain required radiation operation permits
- Coordinate with medical department for employee enrolment in medical surveillance program
- Report occupational health performance to management
- Support Environment Lead in ensuring EHS management systems comply with MSHEM Standards, ISO 14001 & RC 14001
- Assist in monitoring Sustainability indices and develop procedures for achieving sustainability goals
- Participate in EHS Management System Procedure Review process
- Generate Environment reports for Royal Commission, Maaden and other agencies
- Attend project meetings and ensure EHS requirements are incorporated in new projects
- Assist departments in developing Environment Management System and maintaining records for ISO 14001 audits
- Participate in development of Responsible Care Management System
- Coordinate with departments for monitoring Green House Gas emissions and assist in reduction plans
- Assist Environment Lead in coordinating annual environmental and Industrial Hygiene Monitoring
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or Environmental Science
- NEBOSH International General Certificate in Safety
- Minimum 2 years in the Petrochemical industry in the field of Safety, Health and Environment
- Knowledge of Royal Commission Environmental Regulation
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, RC 14001
- Qualified internal auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001

Job Overview
- Assisting the company in implementing a good Environment Management System and maintaining high standards in the field of the Environment. Responsible for carrying out surveys, monitoring, testing, waste disposal, etc. Ensures that applicable EHS regulations and procedures are followed.
Key Accountabilities
- Obtain required radiation operation permits.
- Coordinate with medical department to insure enrolment of required employees in medical surveillance program.
- Report occupational health performance to management.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or Environmental Science.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate in Safety.
- Minimum 2 years in the Petrochemical industry in the field of Safety, Health and Environment.
- Knowledge on the Royal Commission Environmental Regulation.
- Knowledge on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, RC 14001.
- Qualified internal auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
- Knowledge of MSHEM Standard.
- Knowledge of EHS Management System Standards and Policies/ Procedures.
- Knowledge on environmental aspects, environmental regulations and legal requirements.
- Good computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
- Highly developed advisory and supervisory skills.
- Good Planning & organizing skills.
