Job Purpose
Create detailed electrical system designs and schematics for projects.
Analyze requirements, develop and test systems, ensure standards compliance, and deliver reliable designs that meet technical and cost objectives.
Design and Development
- Create electrical system designs, schematics, and layouts that meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct load calculations, system simulations, and performance analyses to support efficient and reliable designs.
Documentation and Compliance
- Prepare and maintain design drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.
Collaboration and Project Work
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, clients, and stakeholders to integrate electrical systems with other building systems.
- Review and approve design modifications and communicate technical advice and design solutions to clients.
- Perform planned activities within delivery schedules and use resources effectively.
Problem-Solving and Improvement
- Identify and resolve design issues, perform system testing, and address technical problems during implementation.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve design processes and solutions.
- Support quality control, process improvement, and automation opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Fresher to 2 years of work experience.
- Technical and functional competencies include design tools, reporting, troubleshooting, compliance, and communication.
Operational Expectations
- Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
- Resolve related problems and escalate complex operational issues.
- Comply with applicable policy, safety, quality, environmental, and work instruction requirements.
