Qualcomm India Private Limited is hiring within its Engineering Group, specifically Systems Engineering.
The multimedia systems team works on high-performance, low-power multimedia capabilities across mobile, XR, automotive, IoT, and compute products.
The team is seeking systems engineers for vision and image-processing initiatives.
Role Overview
The role focuses on computer vision, image processing, multimedia systems, and embedded-device technologies.
The work supports hardware acceleration, product optimization, and commercialization across multiple product segments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in multimedia or embedded technologies.
- Programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
- Knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design computer-vision and image-processing solutions for embedded devices.
- Design and evaluate algorithms for implementation in hardware and software prototypes.
- Develop or optimize image-processing and computer-vision algorithms for hardware acceleration.
- Support product commercialization through solution optimization, performance profiling, and benchmarking.
- Support test regression and release activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with real-time or embedded systems.
- Exposure to or experience with vision or multimedia accelerators.
- Experience with image-processing algorithms.
- Knowledge or experience with computer-vision algorithms.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and experience with C/C++ programming.
- Experience with software optimization using SIMD and multithreading.
