Role overview
Dillon is seeking an Engagement Specialist/Planner for its Community Planning team in Central and Eastern Ontario.
The role leads community-based consultation programs for high-profile planning and infrastructure projects.
The position may be based in Toronto North York or Downtown, or Kitchener offices.
The role includes in-person attendance at meetings and events at various locations across Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder engagement programs and develop plans based on stakeholders and project issues.
- Prepare communication materials, facilitate engagement events, and use digital engagement tools.
- Analyze stakeholder input and prepare consultation summary reports.
- Support budgets, expenditure reports, invoicing, coordination, and other project management activities.
- Collaborate with internal staff and sub-consultants across the company.
- Support Ontario client relationships, business development, and proposal writing.
- Travel to project locations in the Greater Toronto Area or other Dillon offices when requested.
- Lead teams and mentor junior staff in their technical and career development.
