Job Purpose

Support a safe, compliant, and resilient working environment across Emirates’ global operations.

Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and quality review of the crisis management program for major accidents or incidents across the route network.

Coordinate humanitarian and logistical emergency response processes involving people and systems.

Emergency Planning and Training

  • Develop emergency response planning frameworks and procedures aligned with CRP management direction, IOSA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Design, deliver, and oversee blended emergency response awareness training and exercises.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis and maintain relevant, accurate, current programs with timely scheduling and follow-up.

Systems and Quality Management

  • Support departmental crisis systems and monitor quality, observations, and non-conformances through corrective action planning.
  • Conduct user testing and recommend enhancements to crisis management software applications.
  • Produce statistical analysis reports, identify recurring trends, and escalate issues through safety boards and senior managers.

Emergency and Family Assistance

  • Manage individual passenger emergencies and coordinate transportation, repatriation, accommodation, visas, travel arrangements, and related administration.
  • Provide guidance and quality reviews for station, hub, passenger, freighter, charter, and Crisis Support Unit emergency programs.
  • Develop and maintain Family Assistance procedures covering telephone enquiry and family assistance centres and their integration with crisis programs.

Responders and Facilities

  • Manage recruitment, selection, and retention of emergency care responders and identify volunteers for specialist or leadership roles.
  • Maintain crisis facilities and deployment assets through monitoring, exercises, and testing for effective activation.

Qualifications

  • Completed degree or honours qualification equivalent to 12+3 or equivalent.
  • At least five years of experience in Airport Operations, Airport Services, Commercial Operations, or a related discipline.
  • At least two years of the experience should ideally be in emergency planning.
  • Working knowledge of developing, implementing, and delivering emergency response training.
  • Strong IT literacy and proficiency in relevant technology applications.
  • Knowledge of Infospace and Emergency Management Systems is advantageous.
