About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide calibration and repair capability for electronic test measurement and diagnostic equipment
- Provide training to laboratory and site personnel on new equipment
- Calibrate and/or repair all electronic test measurement and diagnostic equipment supported by the calibration laboratory
- Develop new procedures and methods for performing calibration on new equipment
- Perform precision calibration of state of the art electronic equipment
- Develop test jigs, fixtures, and special test setups for calibration
- Provide on the job training for technicians in electronic theory and calibration
- Make site visits for training, evaluation, and technical assistance
- Assist section officer in enforcing safety policies, procedures, and standards
Requirements
- Strong background in digital electronics and RF/Microwave
- Minimum of 4 years experience in calibration of electronic equipment
- Deep understanding of measurement, calibration, and instrumentation principles
- Proficient in using computers and software applications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree with 4 years experience, or Associates Degree with 8 years, or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

- Proficient in using computers and software applications
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
Qualifications We Prefer
- Familiar with various types of measuring equipment
- Strong foundation in mathematics
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of related experience, or Associates Degree with 8 years’ experience or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience
Salary and Benefits
- Salary range: 86,800 USD 165,200 USD
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match, parental leave, paid time off
- Eligible for annual short term and/or long term incentive compensation
