About the Role

- Provide calibration and repair capability for electronic test measurement and diagnostic equipment
- Train laboratory and site personnel on new equipment
- Develop new procedures and methods for calibration
- Perform precision calibration of state of the art electronic equipment
- Develop test jigs, fixtures, and special test setups
- Provide on the job training in electronic theory and standards application
- Make site visits for training, evaluation, and technical assistance
- Assist section officer in enforcing safety policies
Requirements
- Strong background in digital electronics and RF/Microwave
- Minimum 4 years experience in calibration of electronic equipment
- Deep understanding of measurement, calibration, and instrumentation principles
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Proficient in computers and software applications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's Degree with 4 years experience, or Associates with 8 years, or HS Diploma with 12 years
