Position Summary

Maintenance Duties

• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and inspections on tools, kitchen equipment, mechanical-room equipment, and other machines.
• Maintain inventories and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Operate equipment and building utility shut-offs and use Lockout/Tagout before maintenance work.
• Perform painting, minor drywall and wood-trim repairs, light-bulb and air-conditioning filter replacement, and repair-area cleanup.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment, plumbing, electrical components, guestroom items, internet devices, switches, and outlets.
• Program televisions, update air-handler schedules, make temperature changes, and complete engineering-related inventory duties.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping and external landscaping sprinkler systems.

Guest and Team Service

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests or customers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved programs and standards.
• Welcome guests, address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Some experience in general maintenance and interior or exterior surface preparation and painting is preferred.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
• No supervisory experience is required or listed.

Required Qualification

• A valid driver's license is required.

Schedule and Work Setting

• The schedule is full time.
• The posting states that the role is not remote and is located at a hotel property in Lusail, Qatar.
• The role involves physical site work, equipment handling, stairs, ramps, ladders, and overhead or below-knee work.
