Job Description

Role Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes.
• Maintain M&E and HVAC equipment across the hotel complex with emphasis on health and safety.
• Repair mechanical and electrical heating and ventilation equipment for safe and efficient hotel operation.
• Maintain single- and three-phase distribution systems, lighting, power installations, and appliances.
• Assist with fire alarms, lighting, batteries, generators, and standby power requirements.
• Maintain M&E control systems, equipment, televisions, hair dryers, shaver sockets, and guest and service lifts.
• Use sketches and blueprints to locate wiring and equipment and ensure building and safety code compliance.
• Use power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.

Education, Qualifications and Experience

• A qualified Electrician with a diploma in electro-technical services is considered ideal.
• A basic high school or college qualification is considered ideal.
• Proven knowledge of operating and maintaining electrical equipment is required.
• A good command of English and the ability to find and rectify system faults are essential.
