About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Technician for industrial maintenance in water treatment or similar plants. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, troubleshoot systems, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, MCCs, VFDs, switchgear, transformers, and power distribution systems
- Inspect, test, and maintain electrical panels, breakers, relays, and control circuits
- Assist in plant start up, shutdown, and commissioning activities
- Monitor plant electrical performance and identify potential failures
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, single line diagrams, and wiring schematics
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit to work systems
- Coordinate with operations, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to minimize downtime
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and spare parts inventory
- Support emergency breakdown maintenance on a shift basis
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI / Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology
- 3 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, or desalination plants preferred
- Knowledge of PLC systems, SCADA systems, VFDs, MCCs, LV/MV electrical systems
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and procedures

Skills

- Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, or desalination plants, Oil & gas / industrial backgrounds are preferred.
- Knowledge of: PLC systems, SCADA systems, VFDs, MCCs, LV/MV electrical systems, Electrical safety standards and procedures.
