Due to continued growth, we are seeking skilled and motivated Electrical Technicians to join our Engineering Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in hazardous area inspections, electrical construction, maintenance, testing, and commissioning who thrive in challenging onshore and offshore environments. The Role As an Electrical Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and reliability of electrical and Ex-rated equipment and installations. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will carry out inspection, installation, testing, maintenance, and commissioning activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Conduct visual, close, and detailed Ex inspections in accordance with IEC 60079 standards and client requirements.
Verify compliance of electrical equipment installed in hazardous areas.
Identify, record, and report defects, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
Review equipment certification, Ex registers, drawings, and technical documentation.
Support hazardous area verification and compliance activities.
Carry out electrical and instrumentation installation, modification, maintenance, and repair activities.
Perform testing, inspection, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Interpret and work from electrical drawings, schematics, cable schedules, loop diagrams, and technical documentation.
Conduct site surveys and assist with material identification and project planning.
Complete inspection reports, test records, certification packs, and project documentation accurately and on time.

Strong communication and reporting skills
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
IRATA or other rope-access certification
Experience working offshore, on international projects, fabrication yards, commissioning projects, or operating facilities.
Strong practical electrical troubleshooting and installation skills.
A methodical approach to hazardous area inspections and compliance.

Good organizational and time-management skills.
Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
Professional attitude and customer-focused approach.
Ability to work in demanding site environments and adapt to changing project requirements.
Comply with all company, client, and regulatory HSEQ requirements.
Follow permits, LOTO procedures, risk assessments, and approved work methods.
Exercise stop-work authority when conditions are unsafe.
Maintain the integrity and compliance of Ex equipment and installations.
Actively contribute to a positive safety culture across all project activities.
