Role Overview
The Electrical Sales Engineer develops business and sells UPS systems, transformers, and related electrical power solutions.
The role serves customers and project stakeholders across the Qatar electrical and power-equipment market.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, MEP companies, developers, utilities, and industrial stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities and sell UPS, transformer, and related power products against customer and project requirements.
- Review specifications and load requirements to recommend compliant technical solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, submittals, tender documents, and technical offers.
- Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, procurement, and technical teams on competitive offers.
- Conduct meetings, site visits, product presentations, and technical discussions.
- Follow opportunities through quotations, tenders, negotiations, purchase orders, and order closure.
- Monitor markets and competitors, manage key accounts, achieve sales targets, and report results.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant UPS, transformer, or electrical power equipment sales experience is required.
