About the Role
Madre Integrated Engineering seeks an Electrical Motor Technician for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on LV/MV electric motors and rotating equipment at a QAFCO fertilizer plant in Doha.

- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on LV/MV electric motors, pumps, fans, compressors, and rotating equipment
- Carry out motor rewinding, insulation resistance testing, vibration analysis, and shaft alignment checks
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, MCC panels, motor starters, and VFDs
- Work under Permit to Work system and follow LOTO procedures
- Maintain maintenance records using SAP PM and prepare job reports
- Comply with QAFCO HSE policies and handle explosion proof equipment in hazardous areas
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
- Valid Electrical License Certificate issued by a recognized authority
- QAFCO or QP vendor approval is an advantage

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on LV/MV electric motors, pumps, fans, compressors, and rotating equipment across the QAFCO fertilizer plant
- Carry out motor rewinding, insulation resistance testing (IR/PI tests), vibration analysis, and shaft alignment checks; interpret results and initiate corrective actions
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, MCC panels, motor starters, and VFDs; coordinate with the control room and process teams during equipment isolation and reinstatement
- Work under the Permit to Work (PTW) system and strictly follow LOTO procedures during all maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using SAP PM; prepare job reports, material requisitions, and support shutdown/turnaround planning and execution
- Comply with QAFCO HSE policies and handle explosion proof (Ex) equipment in ATEX/IECEx classified hazardous areas safely
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
- Valid Electrical License Certificate (issued by a recognized authority); QAFCO or QP vendor approval is an advantage
