Job Description

  • Seeking a detail oriented and analytical Electrical Inspector Site to join the team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
  • Responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of electrical installations on construction sites throughout the region.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems and components on construction sites to ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Perform tests on electrical installations using specialized equipment to verify safety and functionality.
  • Identify and document electrical deficiencies, code violations, and safety hazards.
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve electrical issues and ensure timely project completion.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all inspections and findings.
  • Stay up to date with changes in electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to improve electrical safety and efficiency on construction sites.
  • Participate in pre construction meetings to discuss electrical requirements and potential challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE electrical standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical inspection or related field.
  • Proficiency in electrical codes and standards, including familiarity with UAE electrical regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience working on construction sites.
  • Familiarity with testing equipment and inspection tools.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inspection software.
  • Detail oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations and safety standards.
