- Assist the Resident Engineer or MEP Lead in performing contractual duties on site
- Provide resolution for technical engineering problems within assigned discipline
- Review construction submittals including method statements, shop drawings, and material proposals
- Monitor material procurement and deliveries
- Undertake general project site observation/inspection of electrical services works
- Witness on site testing and commissioning
- Prepare on going list of defects for contractor's remedial action
- Attend project, site progress and technical meetings
- Prepare draft site/engineer's instructions
- Review and comment on Contractors Operation and Maintenance manuals
- Oversee junior engineers and inspectors
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Min of 10 years postgraduate experience
- Min of 7 years of similar work experience on large projects
- Regional experience is preferred
- Authority registration is preferred
- UAE Driving License

Job Description
- The Electrical Engineer will assist the Project Manager and Resident Engineer in administering operational functions of day to day activities on the project.
- Participate in review and approval of all submittals by the contractor with focus on quality assurance during engineering phase of construction.
- Perform routine inspection monitoring tasks to confirm proper construction supervision.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the Resident Engineer or MEP Lead in performing contractual duties on site.
- Provide resolution for technical engineering problems within assigned discipline.
- Advise project manager of any technical aspects affecting construction progress.
- Review construction submittals from project inception to close out.
- Monitor material procurement and deliveries.
- Undertake general project site observation/inspection of electrical services works.
- Witness on site testing and commissioning.
- Prepare on going list of electrical services defects.
- Attend project, site progress and technical meetings.
- Prepare draft site/engineer's instructions.
- Review and comment on Contractors Operation and Maintenance manuals.
- Oversee junior engineers and inspectors.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Min of 10 years postgraduate experience and min of 7 years similar work experience on large projects.
- Regional experience is preferred.
- Authority registration is preferred.
- UAE Driving License.
