Job Purpose
Lead installation, integration, and commissioning of UPS systems and lithium-ion battery cabinets for a critical power or data center project.
Cover the lifecycle from equipment verification and mechanical installation through energization, functional testing, and Level 3-5 commissioning support.
Installation and Integration
- Oversee transport, positioning, and floor anchoring of UPS units, I/O cabinets, and battery modules.
- Verify delivered equipment against the approved Bill of Materials and report discrepancies before work begins.
- Integrate I/O cabinets with UPS systems, including busbar connections, control wiring, and communication interfaces.
- Terminate battery power cables, input/output flanges, cable glands, and protective earth connections.
Battery System Work
- Inspect battery modules through visual checks, serial verification, voltage measurement, and impedance testing.
- Perform battery balancing using approved charging and discharging kits.
- Interconnect battery modules, assemble fuse kits, and verify torque values according to specifications.
- Check for abnormal voltage deviations across battery modules and strings.
