Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain product catalog accuracy across multiple e commerce platforms and internal content management systems
- Review, update, and optimize product titles, descriptions, images, metadata, and categorization according to SEO standards
- Conduct regular product listing audits to identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, missing information, or merchandising issues
- Research and resolve catalog errors, mismatches, and data quality issues
- Support development and maintenance of product taxonomies, attributes, and SKU structures
- Collaborate with marketing, content, design, and operational teams to ensure effective product representation
- Monitor e commerce platform updates, competitor activity, and category trends to identify improvement opportunities
- Analyze catalog performance data and provide insights to support merchandising decisions
- Contribute to improving catalog processes, workflows, and automation initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E commerce, Data Analysis, or related field
- 5 7 years of experience in product catalog management, e commerce operations, digital merchandising, or similar role
- Hands on experience with e commerce platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Shopify, Magento, or similar
- Familiarity with content management systems and digital product data workflows
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of product information
- Good understanding of SEO principles, product taxonomy, metadata optimization, and online merchandising best practices
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with PIM systems, catalog automation tools, or product information workflows is an advantage
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Data Studio is a plus
