About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Manager to lead and grow our D2C online sales channel for consumer electronics, home appliances, and kitchen tech products.
  • The ideal candidate will own the end to end digital storefront experience — from platform management and merchandising to conversion optimization and marketplace performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the company's D2C ecommerce platform (Magento preferred, Shopify acceptable), including site structure, product listings, categorization, and UX/UI improvements.
  • Own the online product catalog: pricing, descriptions, imagery, specs, and inventory sync for electronics, appliances, and kitchen products.
  • Drive D2C sales growth through merchandising strategy, promotions, customer retention, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Build and scale direct to consumer relationships — repeat purchase strategy, loyalty/CRM initiatives, and customer lifetime value growth.
  • Coordinate with marketing on SEO, paid campaigns, email/SMS marketing, and content to drive D2C traffic and sales.
  • Manage marketplace presence (Amazon.ae, Noon, Dubizzle, etc.) alongside the D2C channel, ensuring pricing parity and consistent brand experience.
  • Monitor site performance, analytics (GA4, platform dashboards), and KPIs (conversion rate, AOV, repeat purchase rate, cart abandonment, CAC).
  • Oversee payment gateway integrations, checkout flow, and end to end customer experience.
  • Work with logistics/operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, shipping, and returns processes.
  • Manage relationships with web developers, agencies, or platform vendors for site enhancements.
  • Stay current on D2C ecommerce trends, competitor activity, and emerging tools relevant to electronics/appliance retail.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and recommendations for leadership.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in ecommerce management, specifically in a D2C (Direct to Consumer) capacity — not purely marketplace or B2B ecommerce.
  • Hands on Magento experience strongly preferred; candidates with strong Shopify experience will also be considered.
  • Proven track record growing a D2C brand's online revenue, customer base, or retention metrics.
  • Strong understanding of online merchandising, catalog management, and digital marketing fundamentals (SEO/SEM, email, social).
  • Experience with UAE/GCC ecommerce marketplaces (Amazon.ae, Noon) is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, GA4, and ecommerce reporting tools.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus (for troubleshooting/light edits).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy.
  • Excellent project management and cross functional coordination skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience specifically with kitchen tech, small appliances, or consumer electronics categories.
  • Experience launching or scaling a D2C channel from scratch.
  • Knowledge of ERP/inventory systems integration with ecommerce platforms.
  • Arabic language skills (depending on target market).
