About the Role
The Commis I assists chefs with the daily operation of the kitchen.
The role supports high standards and quality in food preparation at Four Seasons Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island.
Main Duties
- Prepare food according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs, and instructions.
- Assist with developing standard recipes and ensure strict compliance with them.
- Participate in product development and support efficient kitchen operations.
- Apply knowledge of cuisines and food service sanitation.
- Maintain adherence to Four Seasons food standards.
- Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Executive Chef.
What You Bring
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role in a luxury brand is required.
- A high level of kitchen operations knowledge is required.
- Proficiency in spoken, read, and written English is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
- An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to assigned tasks are expected.
