Overview
- Prepare electrical and instrumentation design drawings, including single line diagrams, cable routing layouts, termination drawings, loop diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Develop 2D and 3D E&I models using AutoCAD and other design software.
- Review project specifications, P&IDs, and engineering documents to ensure accurate design implementation.
- Prepare design input documents, design change notes, and support design development activities.
- Review design deliverables prepared in-house or by subcontractors prior to approval and construction release.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure design feasibility and constructability.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and support procurement and project execution.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and third-party agencies for technical clarifications.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of all design deliverables.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of design-related issues during fabrication and installation stages.
- Ensure adherence to company QHSE standards throughout all design activities.
