About the Role
Parsons Corporation is looking for a Dry Utilities Inspector to monitor and inspect electrical and civil works for infrastructure/road construction projects in Abu Dhabi. Requires 5+ years of experience and a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Utility Engineer in performing inspecting the site duties related to Streetlight, Electrical & Telecommunication networks, Asphalt Road Construction works and related furniture
- Maintain a detailed diary of the day’s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labour and equipment used
- Attend to Work Inspection Request (WIR) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner
- Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues
- Prepare Surveillance Report(s) for deficiencies of work and complete Site Observation Report (SOR) or Non Conformance Report (NCR) if required
- Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site
- Prepare/complete the necessary documentation prior to inspection of the Works and process accordingly
- Keep, monitor and follow up as necessary and maintain complete record(s) concerning the execution of the works
- Ensure that the project quality control procedures are used for the construction supervision works and monitors it for improvement
- Ensure site progress information is communicated regularly
- Coordinate the works to ensure successful hand over of the project
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute
- Minimum of 5+ years of civil and utilities construction work experience on major infrastructure and Road construction projects
- GCC experience is an advantage
- Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to comprehend and interpret construction specifications
- Fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Dry utilities Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to involve in monitoring, inspection, coordination, witnessing, documentation of all Electrical and Civil for infrastructure/Road construction Project to ensure the project is constructed
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist the Utility Engineer in performing inspecting the site duties related to the Streetlight, Electrical & Telecommunication networks, Asphalt Road Construction works and related furniture, (Storm water, Guide signs, barriers, Guard rail ..etc) in accordance to the approved shop drawings & projec
- Maintain a detailed diary of the day’s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labour and equipment used, etc. and sign at the end of each day.
- Attend to Work Inspection Request (WIR) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
- Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring the same complies with contract specifications, safety and health risk assessment and environmental mitigating measures respectively on a daily basis.
- Prepare Surveillance Report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site that are believed to have failed or if the contractor is not complying with verbal instructions and subsequently complete a Site Observation Report (SOR) or Non Conformance Report (NCR) if required in view of the development of ev

What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute to the approval of the Engineer.
- Minimum of 5+ years of civil and utilities construction work experience on major infrastructure and Road construction projects.
- GCC experience is an advantage.
