Job Overview
SUN STAR HARDWARES TRADING LLC seeks a reliable Light Vehicle Driver for safe, timely delivery of goods and services in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods and passengers to designated locations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify maintenance needs
- Follow established routes and schedules while maintaining punctuality and meeting delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate and organized logs of mileage, deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and local regulations in Al Ain and surrounding areas
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or safety concerns promptly to management
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks and assist with vehicle cleanliness and upkeep
- Navigate efficiently using route planning skills and local knowledge of Al Ain's road network
- Demonstrate professional behavior and excellent customer service in all interactions
- Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required by operational needs
Qualifications
- Valid light vehicle driving license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
