Overview
SUN STAR HARDWARES TRADING LLC is looking for an Accountant cum Document Controller to manage financial records, prepare reports, and maintain accurate documentation. The role involves handling accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and petty cash, as well as organizing and controlling project and
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and financial reports
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and petty cash
- Prepare VAT filings and assist with audits
- Organize and control project and office documentation (soft and hard copies)
- Ensure proper filing, retrieval, and archiving of documents
- Coordinate with internal departments for document flow and approvals
- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Knowledge of UAE accounting standards and document control practices
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
