Responsibilities
- Safely operate a heavy bus to transport passengers along assigned routes, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is clean, fueled, and in proper working condition.
- Report any mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance for regular servicing and repairs.
- Follow company safety procedures and emergency protocols at all times.
- Promptly report accidents, incidents, or delays through the designated system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license (Category 6 or equivalent for buses)
- Proven experience as a bus driver or heavy vehicle driver within the UAE
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Strong knowledge of UAE roads, traffic laws, and designated bus routes
- Flexible to work shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Good communication skills (basic English required)

Required Skills/Abilities

- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong knowledge of UAE roads, traffic laws, and designated bus routes.
- Ability to operate large vehicles safely in various traffic and weather conditions.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning.
- Flexible to work shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional, courteous, and customer service oriented attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high traffic or emergency situations.
- Strong time management, reliability, and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills (basic English required; additional languages are an advantage).
