Role Overview
The American University in the Emirates is seeking a Driver for university shuttle services.
The role provides pick-up and drop-off transportation for students and staff and supports transportation and delivery needs for university operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- One to three years of relevant driving experience in the UAE.
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain a professional appearance, work flexible timings, and cover night shifts.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide scheduled pick-up and drop-off services for students and staff.
- Communicate professionally and respond promptly to calls on a cellular phone.
- Maintain pick-up, drop-off, and delivery records.
- Transport university service personnel to arranged accommodation.
- Observe speed limits and ensure passenger safety.
- Deliver and collect supplies for university events.
- Keep a customer-service focus in all situations.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean, fueled, and maintained.
- Perform other duties assigned by superiors.
Salary
- Salary ranges from AED 2,500 to AED 3,500 per month depending on experience, with additional benefits.
