Salary and Benefits
- Salary is AED 1,500 per month, plus accommodation, transportation, and additional benefits under university policy.
Education and Experience
- A High School Diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- The role requires 1-3 years of relevant cleaning, housekeeping, or similar experience.
- Previous experience in an institutional environment such as a university, school, hotel, hospital, or office is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment and ability to follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, manage assigned tasks, communicate effectively, and follow supervisor instructions.
- Physical capability for prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and flexible to work shifts, weekends, and special events when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize campus facilities, restrooms, floors, surfaces, furniture, fixtures, windows, pantries, staff areas, and common facilities.
- Empty waste bins, dispose of waste and recyclables, disinfect high-touch surfaces, and replenish hygiene supplies.
- Monitor supplies and equipment, use cleaning chemicals safely, and report shortages, damage, malfunctions, hazards, and maintenance issues.
- Assist with moving or rearranging furniture and with facility preparation before and after university events.
Working Environment
- Work takes place across different areas of the university campus and involves extended standing, walking, bending, and physical cleaning activities.
- Shift schedules may include weekends and university events based on operational requirements.
