- Play lead role in ensuring Ashghal Vision and Values become part of the culture of the Drainage Networks Operations and Maintenance Department
- Provide ongoing review of objectives, risks, KPIs and take actions for development and improvement
- Ensure department plans and performance are within approved budget and timescales
- Advise and support technical office manager on asset management (drainage)
- Advise on improvements in risk management, operational output and performance
- Represent technical office manager in assets meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Support in building complete KPIs for operations and assets management (drainage)
- Review and advise on issues related to Assets Affairs and handover process
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent
- Chartered status or Professional License from internationally recognized institutions
- Minimum 20 years postgraduate experience in major infrastructure projects
- 15 years in similar position
- 5 years in Qatar and/or Gulf region
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong problem solving skills

Job Description Overview
- Participate in building and design of a comprehensive reporting mechanism for Operations in Assets affairs including drainage operations and maintenance.
- This is a key role in ensuring the Authority remains a risk aware and resilient organization.
Your Role
- Play the lead role in ensuring the Ashghal Vision and Values becomes part of the culture of the Drainage Networks Operations and Maintenance Department.
- Provide an ongoing review of objectives, Risks, KPIs and take actions for development and improvement.
- Ensure that the Department's plans and performance are within the approved budget and timescales.
- Ensure highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity.
- Advise and support the technical office manager on all aspects of Asset management (Drainage).
- Advise on improvements on risk management, operational output and performance.
- Represent technical office manager in Assets meeting related to Drainage issues.
- Support in building complete KPIs for Operations and assets management (Drainage).
- Review and advise technical office manager for issues related to Assets Affairs and handover process.
About You Mandatory Requirements
- University degree from a recognised university in Engineering, Business or equivalent.
- Chartered status or Professional License from internationally recognized professional institutions.
- Minimum of 20 years postgraduate experience with experience in major infrastructure projects.
- 15 years in similar position, and 5 years in Qatar and/or the Gulf region.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong problem solving skills, relationship management and communication skills.
Desirable Requirements
- Masters degree in project management, road operations, KPI or strategy.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in Arabic.
Skills and Competencies
- Deep understanding of Operations performance in Drainage Operations and maintenance.
- Knowledge in building enterprise dashboard solutions.
- Knowledge in Assets operations solutions such as Maximo and SAP plan maintenance on enterprise level.
- Basic understanding of quality, risks and HSE.
- Strong problem solving skills.
