Job Overview
The PEB Civil Drafting Engineer works in the Engineering and Design department on pre-engineered building projects.
The role prepares accurate civil and structural drawings and coordinates with design, estimation, fabrication, and project execution teams.
The job location is Pimpri Chinchwad and the role reports to the Engineering Manager or Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare PEB civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Prepare General Arrangement drawings, foundation layouts, column layouts, anchor bolt plans, and floor or slab layouts.
- Produce foundation, footing, pedestal, staircase, platform, steel, civil, structural, and erection details.
- Review source drawings and incorporate structural calculations, design inputs, and project requirements.
- Coordinate loads, reactions, column locations, anchor bolts, and foundation requirements with structural engineers.
- Resolve drawing queries with site and project teams and revise drawings based on client or consultant comments.
- Maintain revision control, drawing records, shop drawings, working drawings, construction drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Assist with BOQs, quantity take-offs, material information, and timely drawing submissions.
- Check drawings for dimensional, detailing, and coordination errors before submission.
