Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing project correspondence, drawings, technical submittals, transmittals, and controlled documents.
- Maintain document registers, drawing and submittal logs, and revision records.
- Control submission, review, approval, resubmission, and distribution workflows.
- Coordinate documentation requirements with project teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Distribute current approved revisions and control superseded documents.
- Monitor pending documents and approvals and follow up with responsible parties.
- Maintain project documentation in the applicable EDMS or document management system.
- Prepare reports and support as-built records, handover, and project close-out documentation.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of document control experience with substantial EPC, construction, infrastructure, or utility project experience.
- Proven ability to independently handle project-level document control.
- Strong experience with engineering drawings, technical submittals, correspondence, transmittals, and revision control.
- Good working knowledge of EDMS is required; Aconex or similar experience is preferred.
- Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong MS Office skills, attention to detail, organization, and follow-up are required.
- UAE or GCC project experience is preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
Compensation
- The salary is AED 4,000–6,000 per month.
