Key Responsibilities
- Manage civil construction activities for HV/EHV substations, including earthworks, foundations, control/GIS buildings, equipment foundations, cable trenches, duct banks, drainage, roads and associated infrastructure works.
- Plan and coordinate site activities, manpower, subcontractors, materials, equipment and construction resources.
- Coordinate closely with electrical, MEP, engineering, planning, QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor construction progress against the approved schedule and take corrective action where required.
- Review construction drawings, method statements and technical requirements and resolve site-related issues.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with approved QA/QC and HSE procedures and project specifications.
- Manage inspections, completion of civil works, punch-list clearance and handover activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with MOHESR Equivalency.
- Strong experience in civil construction and site management for HV/EHV substation projects.
- Proven experience managing complete substation civil works from mobilization through completion and handover.
- Good understanding of civil/electrical interfaces and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Strong leadership, planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- UAE experience is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience on UAE utility projects would be an advantage.
Pay: AED19,000.00 - AED22,000.00 per month
