Job Overview
We are seeking a
Document Controller – Finance Department
to manage, organise and maintain financial documents and records.
The role is responsible for ensuring accurate document control, timely distribution, secure filing, version management and compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, register, classify and maintain finance-related documents and records.
- Organise invoices, purchase orders, payment requests, receipts, statements, contracts and supporting financial documentation.
- Ensure documents are accurately recorded, indexed, filed and easily retrievable.
- Control document versions, revisions, approvals and distribution in accordance with established procedures.
- Verify documents for completeness, accuracy, signatures, approvals and required supporting information.
- Maintain secure electronic and physical filing systems in line with retention and access requirements.
- Prepare document registers, tracking reports, filing indexes and management information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, higher diploma or relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Records Management or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Document Controller, Finance Administrator, Accounts Administrator, Records Coordinator or similar role is preferred.
- Experience managing invoices, purchase orders, or accounting documentation.
