About the Role
Manage project documentation for construction and interior fit-out projects.
Support smooth information flow between site teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage receipt, registration, distribution, and archiving of drawings, RFIs, submittals, transmittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
- Maintain document control logs, registers, and tracking systems using manual or electronic tools such as Aconex, SharePoint, or an EDMS.
- Number, file, and version-control correspondence, drawings, and technical documents.
- Coordinate circulation of drawings and documents with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
- Track approvals and follow up on pending submittals and RFIs to help avoid project delays.
- Maintain hard-copy and electronic filing systems in an organized, retrievable manner.
- Prepare status reports on document flow, outstanding submittals, and approvals.
- Support close-out documentation, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover files.
- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity of project documentation.
Experience and Education
- Minimum 3–5 years as a Document Controller in construction and interior fit-out projects.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
