Job Summary
Kalandoor Group is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with 2–3 years of UAE-based accounting experience to manage financial transactions, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the finance team across the group's diverse business verticals (construction, trading, manufacturing, and fit-out projects).
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, general ledger entries, and reconciliations across business units
- Process accounts payable/receivable, supplier invoices, and client billing for ongoing projects
- Prepare the UAE VAT documents in compliance with FTA regulations
- Support project-wise cost tracking and job-costing for construction/fit-out contracts
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage petty cash
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing, and preparation of financial statements
- Coordinate with procurement, project, and site teams for cost and invoice verification
- Support internal/external audits and ensure documentation is audit-ready
- Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding client payments
- Assist management with MIS reports, budgeting, and cash flow tracking
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience within the UAE (construction/fit-out/trading industry background preferred),Overall experience 4-5 years .
