Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Document Control Manager** to join our team.
In this role, you will manage and oversee document control systems across planning, architectural, engineering, and authority-related submissions, ensuring efficient document management, compliance, and seamless information flow throughout the project lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage document control systems for all planning, architectural, engineering, and authority-related submissions.
- Ensure all documents are registered, tracked, issued, and archived in line with the standards.
- Maintain structured filing systems for both digital and hardcopy records.
- Monitor document workflows, review cycles, and approval status.
- Ensure document numbering, revision control, and version tracking are consistently applied.
- Coordinate issuance of documents to internal teams, consultants, and authorities.
- Support authority submissions by managing document packages and maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare document registers and reports on submission and approval status.
- Audit document completeness, accuracy, and traceability.
- Train project and consultant teams on document control processes and systems.
- Ensure secure handling of confidential and sensitive information.
- Maintain compliance with document retention and record management policies.
- Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to enforce standard document control processes.
- Monitor submission flows and address missing or incorrect documentation.
- Escalate issues related to document compliance as required.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
- **Bachelor’s Degree** in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- **Minimum of 12 years of experience** in document control roles.
- Strong expertise in document control systems and workflows.
- Proven experience managing large volumes of technical and authority-related documentation.
- Strong knowledge of document numbering systems, revision control, approvals, and archiving processes.
- Ability to prepare document registers, dashboards, and audit reports.
- Strong governance, compliance, and confidentiality management capabilities.
- Proficiency in **Document Management Systems such as Aconex, SharePoint,** or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and PDF tools.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.
