Dispatch Technician

The Dispatch Technician is responsible for communicating all aspects of dispatch scheduling of Field Service Technicians for both Installation and Repairs.

This communication will occur via email, chat, system generated work items and notes with our customers, dispatch vendors, and other GTT employees.

• Efficiently and accurately manages inbound and outbound chats from all GTT customers; both internal and external.
• Effectively communicate dispatch times, dates, and technical requirements to our dispatch vendors.
• Provide the highest standards of Customer Service in all situations.
• Escalate, as required, to Management.
• Operate in multiple systems and/or databases as required.
• Works with internal peer teams to assist with dispatch scheduling.
• Assist in fulfillment of Certificate of Insurance for onsite dispatches working with Building management, GTT Technicians and GTT’s Insurance provider.

• One year or more of job experience in similar industry in an inbound call center role.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Logical problem solving and analysis skills.
• Use initiative and be pro-active.
• Having an ownership mentality.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in a pressured and sometimes stressful and dynamic environment.
