Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technology-enabled transformation agendas for Mining and Metals and other asset-intensive clients across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
• Advise CIOs, CTOs, COOs, and business leadership teams on transformation roadmaps and investment cases.
• Originate and convert major opportunities through account planning, executive relationships, proposals, and commercial negotiation.
• Oversee complex programmes from strategy through implementation with focus on quality, value realization, risk management, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate technology strategy, data and AI, digital operations, enterprise platforms, cloud, operational technology, and cyber capabilities.
• Build and lead senior consulting teams, mentor future leaders, and contribute to offerings and thought leadership.
• Collaborate across regional and global networks to bring sector, functional, and technology expertise to engagements.
• Provide market leadership through senior client forums, industry relationships, and relevant points of view.

• Experience in Mining and Metals operations, asset-intensive industries, and operational transformation.
• Experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, and technology-enabled business value realization.
• Experience with data, analytics, and AI, including enterprise data platforms and AI-enabled decision making.
• Experience with digital operations, integrated operations centers, and real-time operational visibility.
• Experience with asset management, reliability, predictive maintenance, and intelligent asset solutions.
• Experience with operational technology, industrial automation, connected operations, and autonomous technologies.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, technology operating models, and technology function transformation.
• Experience with enterprise platforms, cloud, and core business systems modernization.
• Experience with technology-enabled workforce productivity and digital ways of working.
• Experience with large-scale technology programme delivery, transformation leadership, and executive advisory.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of experience in technology consulting, industry technology leadership, or large-scale transformation roles.
• Deep Mining and Metals experience is preferred, while relevant experience in other heavy industries is also considered.
• Strong understanding of mining operations, processing plants, industrial assets, and digital operations environments.
• Experience leading technology-enabled transformations from strategy through implementation.
• Established relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and business leadership teams across the GCC.
• Proven business development, account leadership, and team leadership experience.
• Ability to translate complex technology topics into tangible business outcomes for operational and technology stakeholders.

Skills and Attributes

Qualifications and Market Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
• Extensive leadership experience within a recognized consulting firm, a leading Mining and Metals organization, or another major asset-intensive enterprise.
• Demonstrated experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC market is strongly preferred.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Arabic language capability is advantageous.
• Relevant professional or technology certifications are advantageous but not essential.
