Responsibilities
- Lead end to end structuring on live mandates across receivables financing, private credit, fund tokenisation and asset backed structures
- Originate new mandates alongside the CEO and BD lead across MENA, GCC, South Asia and Sub Saharan Africa
- Codify Zamanat's structuring playbooks
- Build AI assisted structuring tooling and templates
- Own commercial term sheet design, fee structures and economic alignment with sponsors
- Run Sharia structuring decisions with appointed Sharia advisors
- Oversee post issuance servicing on SME and receivables programmes
- Work with regulatory counsel on jurisdictional execution
- Manage deal team relationship with fund administrators, custodians, tokenisation tech partners and Sharia advisors
- Build and lead the structuring team as pipeline conversion supports it
Requirements
- 10 to 14 years of experience in structured finance, capital markets, Islamic finance, private credit, securitisation, receivables financing or specialist arranging
- Demonstrable Sharia structured execution on live deals (Murabaha, Wakala, Sukuk or Ijara)
- Capital markets experience including debt capital markets, sukuk issuance, structured notes or asset backed transactions
- Receivables financing, factoring, supply chain finance or working capital programme experience
- Strong commercial judgement on term sheets, fee structures and sponsor economics
- Experience working across ADGM, DIFC, DFSA, FSRA or comparable GCC and MENA regulatory environments
- Ability to manage external counsel, fund administrators, custodians and partner licence holders
- Willingness to learn and embed AI tools in day to day structuring work

About Zamanat
- Zamanat is a Sharia aligned real world asset tokenisation platform.
- We structure and tokenise assets across funds, private credit, real estate and receivables.
- We have applied for a DIFC tokenised credit fund and run a live structuring pipeline across MENA, GCC and selected emerging markets.
The Role
- We are hiring a Director, Structuring & Origination to lead deal structuring across Zamanat's pipeline.
- The role is hands on today with a clear path to Senior Director or MD.
- The right person executes deals personally now and grows into running a structuring desk over 18 to 36 months.
What You Will Do
- Lead end to end structuring on live mandates across receivables financing, private credit, fund tokenisation and asset backed structures.
- Originate new mandates alongside the CEO and BD lead across MENA, GCC, South Asia and Sub Saharan Africa.
- Codify Zamanat's structuring playbooks.

Candidate Profile
- 10 to 14 years of experience in structured finance, capital markets, Islamic finance, private credit, securitisation, receivables financing or specialist arranging.
- You have personally led deals through structuring, documentation and closing.
- You understand both commercial logic and structural mechanics.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity, lean teams and shaping a function from scratch.
- You are hungry to learn and apply AI tooling.
Required Experience
- 10 to 14 years in structured finance, capital markets, sukuk, Islamic finance, private credit, securitisation, receivables financing or specialist arranging.
- Demonstrable Sharia structured execution on live deals.
- Capital markets experience including debt capital markets, sukuk issuance, structured notes or asset backed transactions.
- Receivables financing, factoring, supply chain finance or working capital programme experience.
- Strong commercial judgement on term sheets, fee structures and sponsor economics.
- Experience working across ADGM, DIFC, DFSA, FSRA or comparable GCC and MENA regulatory environments.

Preferred Experience
- Private markets experience including private credit funds, real estate funds, infrastructure or alternatives.
- Tokenisation, digital assets or blockchain based issuance exposure.
- Direct relationships with mid market issuers, sponsors, asset managers and private credit originators across MENA, GCC, South Asia or Sub Saharan Africa.
- Prior experience codifying structuring playbooks, templates or repeat issuance frameworks.
- Existing exposure to AI tools applied to financial work.
- Team build and leadership experience.
- Comfort operating without a large platform underneath.
What Success Looks Like
- In first 90 days: ownership of live structuring book, mapped pipeline, priority deal sequencing, first playbook codification, identified AI tooling levers.
- In first 12 months: closed mandates with locked fee economics, three named playbooks in production, AI tooling embedded in at least two playbooks, working post issuance servicing model, hiring case for next team member.
