LCRA is looking for a someone to lead the teams, systems, and technology that support the safe, reliable, secure operation of the transmission system.

You will provide strategic direction across our Energy Management System (EMS), Substation Wide Area Network (SubWAN), system modeling, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and regulatory compliance while leading initiatives that strengthen system reliability, manage risk, and prepare LCRA for future growth.

• Lead, develop, and inspire technical teams to deliver operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with NERC CIP, ERCOT, FERC, and applicable standards.
• Lead the development of plans, risk management, budgeting, and asset management.
• Ensure safe, reliable system performance and effective emergency response.
• Twelve years of experience in electric utility transmission operations, transmission engineering, or other relevant experience, including at least five years of management responsibility.
• A degree(s) in engineering, engineering technology, or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
• Driver's license
• Deep expertise in NERC CIP, ERCOT, FERC and reliability requirements.
• Experience with power system modeling, training simulators, and system integration.
• Experience leading cybersecurity and critical infrastructure technology.
