LCRA is seeking a Server & Storage Systems Manager, to support our IT/OT infrastructure.
In this role, you will ensure reliable server and storage operations while encouraging a collaborative culture.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing teams and projects in enterprise environments.
You must have the ability to drive innovation, simplify processes, and support the organization's central initiatives through effective technology management.
This role requires proven leadership experience and technical expertise across multiple platforms, including Azure, VMware, Commvault, NetApp, Active Directory, and Infoblox.

- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance for IT/OT infrastructure across the organization by overseeing daily System Infrastructure operations.
- Lead and execute key projects while managing resources and timelines efficiently.
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for server, identity and storage technologies, that align with organizational goals.
- Provide first-class customer support to all departments by promptly resolving issues and ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Manage and track incidents, provide technical guidance to problems to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to your team, fostering collaboration, skill development, and continuous improvement.
- Twelve or more years of experience in design, specification, implementation, administration and support of enterprise-level IT/OT infrastructure systems, servers and other associated systems including server monitoring and backup systems or relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in computer science or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- 10+ years of experience leading technical teams, optimizing workflows, and allocating time and resources to achieve project objectives.
- Extensive experience deploying, administering, and integrating Azure services, including virtualized environments, PaaS, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
- 11+ years of experience with VMware virtualization platforms, Active Directory (AD) management, and the implementation of robust identity-management solutions featuring role-based access control.
- 10+ years of experience in automation, backup solutions, and the application of AI technologies to streamline operations, strengthen data protection, and drive innovation across technical environments.
- Proven experience overseeing data center operations, including server infrastructure maintenance, high-availability environments, and performance optimization.
- Advanced knowledge of NetApp storage systems and enterprise best practices for data management and security.
