About the Role

Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and lead the overall project management strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives
- Act as the senior escalation point for project risks, resource challenges, and delivery issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuity
- Oversee project budgets, monitor cost performance, approve financial reports, and drive cost optimization initiatives
- Lead governance of change requests, ensuring clear communication of schedule and budget impacts, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks
- Provide strategic direction on contractor management, procurement strategies, resource allocation, and acceleration plans to ensure timely and high quality delivery
- Collaborate closely with procurement, contracts, and commercial teams to ensure seamless execution and informed decision making
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and clients
- Ensure alignment of project execution with organizational objectives through close coordination with sector heads and technical teams
- Champion standardized project management processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory, safety, and engineering standards
- Oversee project performance reporting and data analysis to support executive decision making and continuous improvement
- Establish clear team structures, roles, and accountability frameworks to drive effective collaboration and delivery
- Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining strategic oversight and alignment with business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (or related field) with PMP certification
- 15–20+ years of experience, including 8+ years in senior leadership roles managing large scale, multi disciplinary projects (developer experience preferred)
- Strong expertise in project and program delivery, strategic planning, and execution
- In depth knowledge of UAE construction laws, building codes, environmental regulations, and compliance standards
- Proven ability to manage budgets, risks, vendors, and complex project lifecycles end to end
- Advanced proficiency in project tools (Primavera preferred) and reporting platforms including Power BI and MS Office
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross functional teams and complex stakeholder environments
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong focus on governance, risk mitigation, and operational excellence
- Agile mindset with the ability to drive innovation and adapt to evolving business needs
