Director - Product Technology

Overview

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction and execution roadmap for the shared agentic-AI platform.
• Evolve architecture across agent runtime, orchestration, tool execution, governance, APIs, identity, multi-tenancy, security, and sovereign deployment.
• Turn models, agents, and prototypes into evaluated, usable, secure, observable, and supportable platform capabilities.
• Lead enterprise integration strategy and interoperability with strategic technology ecosystems, including Microsoft.
• Establish engineering practices across development, release, and production with automated evaluations, observability, rollback, and clear ownership.
• Shape engineering capabilities and capacity across Engineering, Data & AI, Platform, Security, and Design.
• Improve reliability, scalability, performance, security, and AI economics across enterprise, sovereign, hybrid, and customer-controlled deployments.
• Raise technical and product judgment through reviews, clear expectations, coaching, and shared engineering practices.
• Use incidents, customer feedback, production behavior, and adoption signals to improve the platform and roadmap.

Qualifications

• Senior product-engineering leadership experience building complex enterprise platforms, developer products, or multi-tenant SaaS.
• Strong hands-on credibility in architecture, system design, design or code review, and complex production diagnosis.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, identity, security, multi-tenancy, reliability, observability, and production operations.
• Experience shipping AI-powered products, including practical knowledge of agents, RAG, evaluation, grounding, safety, latency, and cost.
• Experience guiding products from discovery and prototypes through launch, production operation, iteration, and scale.
• Strong product judgment grounded in user and developer workflows, usability, adoption, and measurable value.
• Track record of leading across organizational boundaries and managing complex technical and commercial trade-offs.
• Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous environments while maintaining delivery momentum.
• Clear communication with engineers, researchers, executives, customers, and strategic partners.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agent platforms, copilots, workflow systems, developer platforms, or API ecosystems.
• Exposure to sovereign, regulated, government, hybrid, or on-premises deployment environments.
• Experience with AI evaluation, model observability, inference optimization, capacity planning, FinOps, or cost governance.
• Experience leading product engineering across multiple locations.
