Job Title: Head of Traffic & Transport

Job Purpose
Lead the strategic planning, design review, and management of traffic and transport systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable mobility across urban and highway networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead transport master planning, traffic engineering, and corridor development strategies
- Oversee design review of road infrastructure, interchanges, and development projects
- Manage traffic impact studies, detour plans, and construction traffic management
- Supervise ITS systems including traffic control centers, signals, CCTV, and smart mobility solutions
- Develop and implement road standards, policies, manuals, and technical guidelines
- Coordinate with government entities, consultants, and developers on major infrastructure projects
- Lead technical committees and ensure compliance with design and safety standards
- Manage transport programs, budgets, and project delivery performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (mandatory), Master’s in Transportation Engineering (preferred)
- 15+ years’ experience in traffic engineering, transport planning, and infrastructure
- Strong background in government authority or major consultancy environment
- Expertise in ITS, traffic modeling, signal systems, and road design standards
- Proven leadership in large-scale urban transport and highway projects
