You're a product executive who continues to ship.

You take a defined product vision, break it into the smallest actionable increments, and deliver enterprise-grade AI capabilities to production quickly—without letting the work devolve into roadmap theater.

You've already navigated the "AI will solve everything" era, understand where large language models (LLMs) and generative AI fail under real-world constraints, and you excel at building despite those limitations.

If your strongest work emerges when you own the outcome from start to finish (deciding, prototyping, hardening, launching, and observing real customer usage), continue reading.

Much of the software industry approaches AI like a surface-level addition: add a chatbot layer, announce a "copilot," label it innovation, and hope enterprise buyers don't probe too deeply.

We're constructing AI-native B2B SaaS capabilities that justify their place in the product through measurable enterprise value, delivered at a pace that makes conventional agile planning cycles appear counterproductive.

In this fully remote position, you'll work closely with engineering and function as a player-coach: part builder, part decision-maker, zero part coordinator.

You'll convert an established product strategy into actionable sprint-level scope, prototype rapidly using modern AI tooling to eliminate ambiguity, and drive releases that customers can realistically adopt in genuine enterprise environments.

If you've delivered net-new enterprise software, leveraged AI as an execution layer (not a marketing announcement), and remain composed when hype meets production realities, you'll have the autonomy to move quickly and the accountability to ensure it holds up.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Shipped Product Capabilities: Net-new or substantially enhanced product features deployed to production and available to enterprise customers
  • AI-Driven Prototypes: Functional prototypes built using AI as the principal execution layer to confirm functionality before production hardening
  • Enterprise-Grade Production Deployments: Fully hardened, secure, reliable deployments that satisfy enterprise standards for quality, usability, and security

  • Portfolio or roadmap-centric product leadership
  • Dependence on customer discovery as the main driver of direction
  • Process-heavy or governance-oriented product roles
  • Treating AI as an assistant rather than a core execution layer

Director Of Product Management Key Responsibilities

  • Rapid delivery of enterprise-grade, AI-native product capabilities into customer hands

Basic Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience shipping new products or major capabilities end-to-end
  • Experience owning product delivery from vision refinement through production deployment
  • Experience prototyping, testing, and iterating products or features using modern AI tooling
  • Experience ensuring enterprise-software standards for quality, security, reliability, and deployment

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.

The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.

The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.

The payment period is weekly.
