Position Summary
Lead Italconsult’s Qatar Branch with overall strategic, operational, financial, commercial, and regulatory responsibility.
Represent the company with key clients, government authorities, partners, and stakeholders across Qatar.
Align Qatar operations with corporate strategy and governance standards.
Strategic Leadership
- Provide overall leadership and direction for the Qatar Branch.
- Develop branch strategies aligned with corporate objectives and regional growth plans.
- Drive operational excellence, establish KPIs, and coordinate branch activities with corporate headquarters.
Financial and Administrative Management
- Maintain full P&L responsibility for the Qatar Branch.
- Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, cost control, revenue, profitability, cash flow, and resource monitoring.
- Oversee administration, procurement, facilities, operational support, internal controls, and governance procedures.
Compliance and Human Capital
- Ensure compliance with Qatar laws, regulations, licensing, registrations, MMUP requirements, immigration rules, and labour law.
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, retention, succession planning, employee welfare, and performance management.
Business Development and Stakeholders
- Lead client retention, relationship management, business development, tenders, proposals, and strategic opportunities.
- Build relationships with government entities, developers, consultants, contractors, clients, and strategic partners.
- Represent Italconsult in high-level meetings, negotiations, industry events, and strategic discussions.
Risk and Governance
- Identify and manage operational, commercial, financial, legal, and reputational risks.
- Ensure business continuity, risk mitigation, escalation procedures, corporate governance, and protection of the company’s commercial interests.
Mandatory Requirement
- MMUP Engineering Grade A Certification in Qatar is essential.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior leadership experience in an engineering consultancy, PMC, or project management environment in Qatar.
- Experience managing a branch, business unit, or comparable operation with full commercial and operational responsibility.
- Strong PWA/Ashghal network and knowledge of Qatar’s engineering and infrastructure sector.
- Proven business development, client management, financial management, government relations, and stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to operate at senior executive and board-management level.
